Dear Brother and Sisters:
I am pleased to introduce the Kyle DeCoteau Foundation. We have been incorporated as a New York Not-for-Profit since December 2011. We are in our infancy stage. Despite this, our purpose is to end gang crime and warfare in America’s cities.

On July 20, 2011, my son Kyle DeCoteau died from three bullet wounds from a Crip gangster’s pistol. Kyle was a Crip too, but he had decided to leave the gang lifestyle after two of his friends were killed by bullets. Kyle was the third to die; this pattern of destruction must end.
My Family and friends have joined me to demand change by any means. We are all victims, our son and brother were taken from us. We have to bring our boys and men out of the street gang’s death cycle and back into the homes of their wives, children, and parents. We have to stop the blood flowing into the gutters of our city streets.

The Foundation and its affiliates have decided to sponsor a town hall meeting for New York City’s inner-city families. We must activate the original gang, our families, to stand against gang violence and illegal guns in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Bushwick, Brownsville, Crown Heights, and throughout New York City. Please join us on our seven months journey, seeking GOD with prayer and fasting for the children of our communities from April 1, 2022, until August 31, 2022.

Let’s work together? Our 9th Family Peace Rally will gather Saturday, April 30, 2022. This is the climax of April 24- 30, 2022’s National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. We will spend the week empowering and reviving our families and communities.

Stand with me, united as families against criminal guns and gang warfare, and lift up the true and original gang – the family – as the model of wellness and peace in our community. We must end the scourge of the Bloods, Crips, Latin Kings, and other death-dealing street gangs.
Email me so that we can work together, for our freedom from guns, gangs, crime, and violence. I can be reached at amotherscry1125@gmail.com.

Sincerely,
Ann DeCoteau
